Still celebrating Graduations!

Boy...this has turned into a weekend long event! On Friday after the ceremony I had my wonderful family over for a variety of wings: Hot Wings, Hickory Smoked Hot Wings, Lemon Pepper Wings, Terayaki Wings, and more with Potato Salad and Beans! For dessert we had a choice of  Coconut Pie or DQ Ice Cream cake!!
We had a blast.
Then on Saturday we went over to my son's bestfriend's party...that was alot of fun..and more food and yummy cupcakes, and the prettiest candy bar--It had yummy candy to bag up and enjoy!!!

And now...today. One more party. This is actually  a cousin who will be attending UT like my son. So we got her UT colored towels, and I used "Trinity" by Mo Manning on a gift tag.

Oh..almost forgot! Here's a photo of the my son and his bestfriend! These guys are super smart! His friend was Valedictorian and my son on the right was ranked 6th! :) They have been bestfriends since Pre-K, they even planned on going to college together. Only problem is...his friend is an Aggie and my son is a Longhorn!LOL

Graduations!

I'm so sorry I don't have a card for today. I usually post my Raise the Bar card today but I've been so busy preparing for my son's High School Graduation. It all happens tonight...so I've been preparing all week. Both physically and mentally!!!LOL I've been having the kids help me clean house. Today, I've got to start cooking and baking......and the mental part...it's a bittersweet moment for me! My baby is growing up and soon to be leaving for college. He will be attending UT in Austin....Hook'em Horns!!! Thanks for reading, I'll be back next Friday with another challenge card!

Double Treat Friday!!

Fridays are always fun because I get to show you 2 card samples!!! My first card is for the Raise the Bar challenge blog. The challenge this week was to use the colors: yellow, gray and white. I was so thrilled to receive my package of goodies from Kadie from the last Blog Candy I won. It had tons of Cosmo Cricket paper and I found the perfect sheet of paper!!! And...I was so thrilled to get to use my new stamps from The Greeting Farm that were also part of Kadie's blog candy!!!

Happy Mother's Day!

I would like to wish all the mothers out there a very Happy Mother's Day!!! May your day be filled with lots of joy, relaxation and loved ones around you!!!

My sister and I have our own families now so we celebrate Mother's Day with our mom on Saturday. That way on Sunday we can enjoy our time with our families and enjoy our day without rushing around from place to place! We had a wonderful day out at one of our favorite places to eat: Pei Wei! Then we chatted, laughed and then....went shopping!!!! I had such a wonderful time w/ all the girls in our family, my Mom, my sis, my niece and my daughter!!! Just us Girlz!!!

And here's a card I made for a cousin of mine. She is a Mom for the first time, so I made her this card.

It's Finally Friday!

Boy, this has been one busy but exciting week! The kids have had TAKS going on at school, I've had lots going on here at home, and the most exciting event of the week, besides winning some amazing Blog Candy!.. was our new addition to the family! Meet "Bella" our 2 month old baby girl (toy poodle)!! My daughter said, "Dad can I have her?" And like always...he said, "Yes." She has melted our hearts!!!

Feeling creative today....

Well, today I have been feeling quite creative. My newest love is Chalkboard paint, and as soon as it dries...I will share what I have made with you.
For now, I'd like to share this recipe binder with you. I made it for a challenge over at:
Magnolia Down Under Challenges. For the challenge you have to use a Magnolia image and a Charm. I just got these charms and have been enjoying them. I found the binder at Big Lots for $3, the charms were a package of 5 for $1.50!! I love this little spatula charm!!!
