and not the Hare this week! I've been suffering from headaches and burning eyes, so I've been a bit "out of it" all week.
So....my Challenge # 56 is posting a little late this morning. I was sorta feeling like the Tortoise all week, but hoping to be more like the Hare today. I have lots to do on my "to do list" today.
Our Challenge this week was to make a bookmark. I thought this was a super fun challenge and one that could be used for Teacher Appreciation week coming up next week, or as a small gift for your kiddos tackling those TAKS tests this week, etc, etc.
I made my bookmark 2 sided because I just couldn't decide on just one image...I loved them all! LOL
I thought this was great for pages you want to read slowly, and others you can just speed through!
Bookmark Details: Digi images-Speedy Hare and Steady Tortoise-Whimsy Stamps Store, Patterned Paper: Cosmo Cricket, Clear Acetate Scalloped Circle: Used my Nestibilitie dies and scraps of Acetate from packaging. The smaller circle at the other end of the ribbon is a Washer from the hardware store that is covered with the same paper. Ribbon: WalMart, I also used those "Reinforcements" by Work Solutions (WalMart) to reinforce my punched hole on the bookmark.
Isn't this a super fun challenge?! I thought so! Please join us over at Meljen's Challenge Blog and play along!
I am also linking this project to a challenge going on over at Do It With Digis-I Can See Clearly Now, the challenge is to use a digital image and acetate.
Have a wonderful Thursday!

OH, this is such a great bookmark!!! I love it as well as all the previews of the images. Super cute.
Hope you're feeling more like the hare!!! I feel for you with the HA's too! Get them myself!
Thanks for showing your space this week Audrey!
Next time, try to beat Jeni! :)
Cute book mark...My daughter would love it think ill make her somethign soon. Try not to breathe in too much smoke. Every time we get a cloud of smoke from the fires here me and the kiddos get really sick. Hope u feel better soon.
That is a fabulous idea for a bookmark. If you have ever seen my blog (Turtle In The Sand) you know I have to have that turtle. Unfortunately I am the tortoise and very very very seldom the Hare! Hope your headache gets better quick like the hare!

The bookmark is wonderful, and I'm of the opinion, you can't have enough of them. I'm definitely the Hare.
What a fun bookmark - love how it is double sided.
