DIY: DOLLAR STORE CHRISTMAS GLOBE

Good Evening to you! Seems Christmas Globes are all the rage right now! I have seem them everywhere and have just been itching to make my own! I can't wait to shop for small cars and trucks to get crafty!!
But sadly, I haven't had much time to shop for treasures, but I DO have a few pieces laying around the house.

The only thing I bought today, was the $1 nativity set and $1 brush tip trees.

I had everything else on hand:

Like I said, I collected all this from around the house. The jar with handle was a purchase from Ross ($2.49), Fake snow was in an old ornament I had, Mini LED soft white strong lights were from Dollar General ($3? or $5?), Elmer's Craft dots from my stash, Nativity figure and Brush Tip trees were $1 each from Dollar General.

And here's my $10 project!!

Jesus is the Reason for the Season!

I cannot wait to hunt for more treasures and create more Christmas Globes!

Merry Christmas!!!

Christmas IS here! And I survived! I made it...it's like running that last stretch of a marathon! Lastnight I had my entire family over. My sister and I had a wonderful visit, she brought some yummy food to snack on, we had Christmas music played by my son and niece. And overall, just had a great time together. For tonight, I have a turkey in the oven. Hubby's side of the family will be over tonight.
I'm really looking forward to tomorrow...the big day! They day I want to sit back and relish at all the blessings given to us. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR SAVIOR!  For without Him we wouldn't have the life we have. All the glory goes to Him.

And a reminder about our Meljen's Designs Challenge #89, you have one more week to play along.

Thanks for visiting today! Have a Merry Christmas. God Bless You and Yours!

I hit the MOTHERLOAD of Christmas goodies!!!

I've had a busy, stressful week and really needed some shopping therapy! So, while my son was in class I visited his local Goodwill! You know how all these retail stores are pullling out their Christmas merchandise? Well, Goodwill is NO exception!!!
They had tons of goodies and I had a ton of fun shopping!!!
I will try to post pictures of all of my findings but for today, I will show you a bag of 40+ ornaments I got for $10!!! They were all brand new with the tags! They are by Encore and were originally priced from $4.99 up to $13.99 each!!! I was squealing with delight as I pulled them out of a tightly tied bag to discover each and every one of them! It was like a "grab bag" of ornaments!

The pink snow "girls" and stockings have a small wood piece on them for personalization, how  sweet is that!?

Thanks for visiting, have a Blessed Friday!!!!
