Bible Journaling: Proverbs 3:13

Good evening to you! I hope your week is going well. I'm popping in this evening to show you a Bible Journaling page that I worked on this past Sunday.

I'm using
 PROVERBS 3:13

"Blessed are those who find wisdom,
    those who gain understanding,"

Godly Wisdom is the ability to discern between right and wrong, God gives us the ability to seek wisdom by reading His word.
In James 1:5 it says, "Ask for Wisdom and it will surely be given to you." By seeking God's wisdom, through His word, we gain an understanding. By meditating on His word and practicing it in our lives we gain wisdom from the Lord and this helps us understand the circumstances in life we may encounter. We may not always understand WHY, but we do understand that His WILL works in our favor.

I absolutely LOVE woodland critters, especially Owls and Foxes!! My niece had a baby shower this past November and she found these super cute invitations and paper napkins at Hobby Lobby.
I thought they were so adorable and knew I wanted to use them in a crafty project.
I saw a YouTube video by Growing Meadows and Tai Bender used clear Gesso to mod podge a napkin to her bible page. After seeing this video, I couldn't wait to try the technique using these napkins. I haven't been able to purchase clear Gesso, so I used Clear ModPodge. The cute green Pom-Pom paperclip is from PEACHY CHEAP DEALS.
Every day is a new deal, so if you see something you like, grab it right away!!!!
I also used various stickers that I had in my stash.
I use an ESV Journaling Bible by Crossway.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a blessed week!

This week in my MAMBI Happy Planner

Happy Monday to you!!! I am having a great Monday so far...I took the day to rest, clean and hopefully craft!!!
Today I'd like to share this week with you. I have been loving my MAMBI Happy Planner.
I have the "GREAT THINGS ARE GOING TO HAPPEN PLANNER". I bought this at Hobby Lobby with my 40% off coupon.

Here is the week so far:
The printed paper in the squares is actually scraps of scrapbooking paper. I believe the orange print is by Basic Grey 4x4 paper pad and the woodland critters print is by The Paper Studio. These are older papers but I love using my scraps like this. The dotted washi and MAMBI stickers are from Hobby Lobby. The owl washi was received in  a swap and didn't have packaging. Not sure who makes this. The leaf washi I believe is from Target's $1 spot (last year). The round bday sticker is by Heidi Swapp, found this package at Michael's.

Here's the left page.

And here's the right page.

Thanks for stopping by!!!
Have a super BLESSED Monday!!

My FIRST Pocket Letter

Happy Sunday to you! I am excited to share my 1st Pocket Letter with you!
I was asked by a Facebook friend, and fellow Owl-Obsessed girl if I wanted to do a Pocket Letter swap with her. I had heard of the concept and that was about it....so I did some "googling" and found this:

Janet Lane-Pocket Letters

It sounded like so much fun so I was game!

Here is my pocket letter that I mailed to my friend Emilie:

I filled it with lots of owl goodies: Paper clips, stickers, washi tape, tea, a letter about me, and more.

This is what she mailed me! I was blown away!!! Look how scrumptious this set is!!!

She put such detail into every little pocket!!! And the extras are adorable! I love the cute polka dotted pencil which will work great in my planner for penciling in dates!!! A super cute note pad and a candy bracelet!! {squeal}

This is the front.

And this is the back. I didn't even know to fill the back up too!

a BIG Thank you to my friend Emilie for my 1st super cute owl pocket letter! I LOVE It!!!!!

Thanks for stopping by!!! Have a blessed Sunday!!

My "MOJO" is back.......I think!!! *fixed photos

As you can see, I've been "away" for a long time. Life got crazy and I slowed down. Been suffering from some pinched nerves, that cause my hands and arms to go to sleep, getting treatment, but I'm only partially healed. Then I was diagnosed w/ High Blood Pressure. Not fun.

I was always on the run....running here and there with work, chores, and life's responsibilities.
After all this...I didn't have the time, energy or desire to create like I used to. UNTIL...lastnight!

I needed a baby gift for a lady from here at work. She decided on an owl theme for her baby girl that will be arriving soon,  so I looked thru my stash of supplies and came up with this:

I made her 3 burp cloths and a matching card. The owl fabric was some leftover remnants, found this print at Hobby Lobby many months ago. The polka dotted fabric and ric-rac is from Walmart.
The owl image was found on Pinterest pre-colored so it was perfect. The card is a box of plain cards I found at Ross. They came in a variety of prints, so I just add an image and embellies!

And the inside of the card....sentiment was found on Pinterest also.

And here's the set:

I pray I am completely healed, God makes miracles everyday...so I know I'm on His list of 'to-dos'!
I really enjoyed crafting lastnight and here's hoping....I'm back in the game!!!! :)

Have a wonderful Thursday!!!!
