DIY Planner Dividers

Good Sunday night to you.......

I know this post is a bit late in the day, but it's my only free time right now.
As I mentioned on my Instagram post, I am trying to do something creative everyday. Big or small, a creative project helps me to "de-stress" and makes me feel productive. Plus...it's super fun!!!

Right now I'm using my Personal Size Filofax Malden and just love it. It's soft, buttery leather keeps me coming back to it!

I have been wanting to update my dividers so I stopped by Hobby Lobby last week and found this cute paper by The Paper Studio

I used a current divider as a pattern and traced it onto the back side of my paper. I folded my patterned paper in half so the print would be on both sides and be thicker.
For the tabs I punched some of the same paper w/ this punch, also by The Paper Studio. I folded the punch piece in half length wise, and adhered it between the 2 layers of paper.

I then laminated them w/ my Scotch laminator. This can be found at Walmart for about $20. My Mom got me this a couple of Christmas' ago and I love it!!! I use the heck out of it!!

I added a stack of sticky Post-Its from Targets $1 spot. It's hard to see, but these Kraft post-its have pink lines on them. Super cute, and match so well. Pink is my favorite color!!!

I typed up my divider subjects in Word and used coordinating colors. I then adhered them to the tabs and covered w/ clear scotch tape. I do it this way just in case I ever want to switch out my divider subjects.

And here you go...........
I'm loving this.

Have a great night! Thank goodness I am off tomorrow because my "crafting wheels" are spinning!
Stay tuned.........

Nothing But Sunshine

We've been getting lots of rain these past few weeks but I am NOT complaining!! God knows south Texas needs lots of rain for the crops, animals, and water sources.

We had an awesome storm on Friday night. I was outside taking pictures with my tablet and spotted this enormous cloud....come to find out, after the fact, we were under a Tornado Warning.
Thank God we were safe and there was no damage. I did get a great shot though:

But since then we have had nothing but beautiful sunshine. So that's my theme in my Filofax pink Calipso for this week. The stickers are from WalMart, they were part of an Easter set. The "Today I'm doing this" stamp is by Recollections. And that big Sun cutout was actually from a Bath & Body flyer I got in the mail. I thought it was so cute I kept it! The polka dotted washi is from Hobby Lobby...my daughter gave me samples. The yellow hold reinforcements are from Annie's Paper Boutique (online)

Thanks for visiting!!! Have an awesome Sunday!!!

Spring Forward!

Hey there!! This Spring Forward time has really hit me hard this year! I'm having a hard time getting my body in sync with the changing time. I can't fall asleep at night and can't get up for work in the morning!

So...my theme in my Ochre Malden this week is Spring Forward...I felt like these "springing" frogs would work perfectly!

My son, Josh, gave me these for my birthday! Thanks Josh!

Thanks for stopping by!!! Have a great Tuesday!!!

The black word stamps are by Recollections.(michael's)
The journaling cards are by We R Memory Keepers ((Walmart)

Boofle in my Filofax

I'm using my personal size Pink Calipso for February.
I just love this cute little dog, Boofle! I found these stickers at Walmart and fell in love!
I am a dog lover and love the color pink so these are perfect for me!

The washi tape is from Walmart. It was with the Valentine collection, but these colors will work for me anytime of
the year.

The "to-do" journaling card was received in a swap so I'm not sure who makes these.

Have a great week!!!

This week in my Filofax

As I sit here at the doctors office, I am thinking of all I have to do today. I'm headed to work after this follow up appointment, but sometimes get overwhelmed with my "to-do" for the day.

I guess that's why I enjoy using my filofax planner. It not only keeps me organized, but it helps me to see what I have accomplished in each day.

Here is this week in my pink Filofax Calipso:

I was so happy to see that my washi matched a polka dotted paper clip I made. I used a flair button from this pack I found at Burlingtons and put it on a nice flat paperclip, found at Walmart.  I don't recall the brand of  washi. I might have bought this online and it didn't have packaging or received it in a swap.

Okay, well..I'm up next! Just waiting for the Dr to come in and give me all GOOD news!!!

Have a blessed Wednesday!

Week 46 in my Ochre Malden & Some Handmade Dividers

First of all...Thank YOU to all the service men and women that have served and protected our country in the past and present. God bless each and every one of you. I, myself, have several veteran's in our family. Thank you!!!!

Everyone that knows me, knows I love animals....always have. They are God's creatures, and I care for them Great and Small.

For Week 46 I'm using some super cute dog stickers I found at WalMart, plus I'm using a Poodle Paper clip that I bought off someone on our Facebook group. :) I'm so happy I got these from her!

The other day I was at Michael's and found these on clearance for $3.

I loved the dividers w/ tabs at the top. It had cardstock sheets, embossed papers?, stickers, and 4 sheets of photo page protectors. (I'll show you how I used those on another post later).

I cut some of the dividers to fit my  planner and laminated them. Now they fit perfectly in
my Personal size Ochre Malden Planner.

I will using the other bits and pieces of this kit when I'm making handmade cards.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a blessed Tuesday.

Week 44 in my Ochre Malden

Yes, this is my 2nd post for today. Taking advantage of being home. I'm loving it!

I don't really "do" Halloween. All of our kids are grown and out of the house. We live out in the country so no visiting trick or treaters. and...we don't celebrate Halloween.
So I did pumpkins, mouse and owls!

The black washi is by Smash, and the stickers are from Target's $ spot.
The cute owl paperclip was bought off a person on a Facebook group.
For Fall, I'm using my Personal size Ochre Malden.

Have a great day!

Handmade Divider for my Planner

Well, Wednesday it IS! Honestly I wish I could stay home all day and listen to my Kari Jobe CD and work in my bible. Reading His word and meditating w/ the Lord. BUT>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I HAVE TO WORK!!!!

So, here's a quick post to show you how I made a divider for my planner.
My son and his girlfriend, Amber, came to visit this past weekend, and with them they brought my early Birthday present. It was a bag filled with all things good!! I'll show you all the yummy goodness in another post.

They also gave me the prettiest card. I wanted to be able to enjoy it daily, so instead of tucking it away, I trimmed it, laminated it, and punched holes to put into my planner:

Week 39 in my Ochre Malden

I have been waiting for this week for months!!! I ordered my Ochre Malden from Amazon many months ago, and I ordered it specifically to use during the fall months.
I am so in love with the beautiful color, soft, buttery feel, and the oh-so-wonderful smell!!! It smells like a brand new pair of Ariat boots!!!

And if you look a little lower...you will see a super cute Planner Charm that my son and his girlfriend had made for me!!! My birthday is in a couple of weeks and the spoiling has begun! LOL It's got a few of my favorite things: a pink owl, Instagram, Starbucks coffee, and a pink macaroon!!!!! Thank you Caleb and Amber!!!!

The stickers are by EK Success, the Leaf Washi is from WalMart ( I think) and the thin washi and Handmade Paper clip were a gift from my son's girlfriend. She's also a Planner Addict, so she's a keeper!! LOL The floral bookmark is by teNeues: designer is Carolyn Gavin. This was a pack of 12 bookmarks called Garden Jots that I got at Goodwill for $2.  On the back of the bookmark it says NOTES and have lines all the way down. I rounded the edges and punched holes in it.  Perfect for for my planner.

Thanks for stopping by!!! Have a blessed Sunday!!!
