Totes and Owls, my 2 favorite things!

I love tote bags, they are so versatile! I love owls, they are so stinkin' cute!!! Just wanted to share some totes
that I made. These are pretty simple to make, can I love making them reversible. So when you grow tired of one print, just flip it inside out and use the other print!!

I don't have a pattern for these, I just sorta made my own......I'm known for that!LOL

I don't know how the first tote got up there, but I guess I'll leave it! The picture below is the
inside of the tote. So you can carry big owls or little bitty owls!!! :)

Here's a floral tote I did, and on the inside it is brown w/ pink polka dots. This is another favorite of mine.

These can be used for books, as a purse, groceries, diaper bag, etc. Like I said, I love totes!!!
Thanks for visiting, please don't be shy and leave me a comment, or just say HI!!! Hey...that rhymes!!! :)

Thought I'd share a cute, cheap gift idea.......

I actually made these about 2 weeks ago...I just hadn't gotten around to posting them. Then this past weekend, I took some pictures and well, here they are!

I think they would make great gifts for teachers, coaches, friends, coworkers, church members, I could go on and on!
They are cheap to make.
Supplies needed:

1 clear acrylic frame (can be found at any dollar store)
Scrapbook paper
Ribbon
1 Post it Note pad
1 pen with a top that screws off
Embellishments, Rubberstamps, etc.
Adhesive for ribbon and embellies

Cut your scrapbook paper to fit inside your frame. Save your scraps!!! I used my adhesive runner to adhere the ribbon all the way around. Then I used my adhesive to adhere my Post it Note pad to the frame.  Decorate with any embellishments you'd like.

For the pen, cut a small strip of paper the length of the tube of the pen, it should be a little less than 1/2" wide. Roll this up and put this inside the pen tube.
I'm sure you can embellish these alot more or a lot less, whatever suits your style!!! Have fun!!!!!!

Altered Acrylic Frame:

And here are 2 more.

Thanks for visiting my blog.....I'd love to hear from you, don't be shy!!!! :)

I made this card using a digital image I found at an Etsy store by the name of Soft Pencil. I love her images and have bought several of them.

Here is what I made using the Little Witch image:

Monday, Monday...what can I say?

Today was a super lazy day for me! I did absolutely nothing, nada, zip! I did manage to get some clothes washed, and some dishes washed too. Even swept. But other than that........nothing! Maybe tomorrow will be a better day!!!
I did make this card this weekend and just wanted to share!

Here are the details:

Decorative Card: Found a package of these at Ross! Super cheap and cute! These are just
blank notecards and I color images to match!
Felt Flower: I believe these are by Jolee. The center was actually purple but I colored
it brown w/ acrylic paint to match.
Image: Wish I knew. I received it in an image swap.
Misc.: Ribbon from WalMart, Machine Stitching, Sentiment done in Word.

Hope you enjoy my card. I had so much fun making it!!!

I've been a busy bee.....

Good morning. I haven't posted in a few days, I've been a very busy bee!!! Besides keeping busy with my teenagers....I've been making cards.

This first card will go out to young girl by the name of Paige. She was injured in a boating accident while out with her family. Her arm had to be amputated just below her elbow. Doctors are continuing treatment to try and save the rest of her arm. She is only 13 years old. I hope my card will bring her some joy and encouragement.
You can read her story here: http://www.eagletribune.com/punewsnh/local_story_244035507.html.
And this is the blog where I found out how to spread some joy! http://scrapstampandbemerry.blogspot.com/

I found this image is from an Etsy store by the name of  Softpencil. You can browse it here:
http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5828592. She has the CUTEST digital images!!! She even has a super cute blog: http://digitalstamps.blogspot.com/.
I used her digital image and colored it to match some blank notecards by Hallmark. I found this package at Ross, it was 12 cards for like $3!!! Super great deal!!! I love the design on these cards and just color my images to match. I tied on some ribbon and stuck on a button and here it is: instant cuteness!!! Thanks for looking!

Here's another card I made. I just love this Sarah Kay image! It's actually from a free coloring page site, but I reduced it in size and colored it in. All the papers and embellishments are from an older page kit that I had. Sentiment is by Studio G.
I hope everyone has a great day!!! I am off to do my domestic duties for Thursday!!! :)

In the mood for Fall......

With this rain and cooler weather we have been having,  I am now in the mood for Fall! I love fall! I love the foods, the colors, and the cooler weather.
This weekend I made some cards. Here are 3 of them.

These are images are digital images from All That Scraps. They have the cutest images!!

I"m sorry I can't recall the patterned paper brand. I have been using scraps from my stash. I think it's by The Paper Studio. I used Copic Markers to color, Stickles for her wings, and scraps of raffia and a button. The sentiment I created in Word on my computer. The scalloped circle and other circles were made with my Cuttlebug using my Nestibillities. Use these alot!!!

Then I made this card:

This one is the same concept, except on this one I used the Swirls Cuttlebug Embossing Folder for the green cardstock and I  used ribbon from Michael's $1 bins.

This one is also an image from All that Scraps, but I'm not sure if I'm done with this card. To me, it's missing something. So it will probably get changed up in some way.

This one is very simple, yellow and striped paper is by American Crafts, red is by Bazzill. I used my computer to type the sentiment. I love this image!!!

Thanks for looking.....I hope they have inspired you to make your own fall cards.

Promise to give this another try....

A long time ago I thought about starting up a blog...but then life got busy. So I put it down and forgot about it---like we do with bills sometimes! Anyway, I've picked it back up and hope to continue and be more persisitent.

I don't really enjoy writing, so this may be tough. But I do like sharing my photos, crafts, cards, and more. So that will be the easy part for me!!!
Our weather has been great this week....it's like a "fall preview". We have a chocolate lab, her name is Holly, and she is 11 months old. She loves going out for a ride and on this pretty day we took her out and she had a ball!!!

She loves sticking her head out the window and feeling the breeze!

We also had rain coming, so I got some pretty shots of that. Here they are:
And last, but not least......this is our new friend down the road. We'll call her "Bell"...cause we love
Blue Bell Ice Cream! LOL

Well, I'm off to start my day....wish me luck! We just never know what our day holds for us!!!LOL
