It's Finally Friday!

It's not that I'm excited about it being the end of the week, I enjoy my weekdays! I'm excited because I get to show you my latest "Raise the Bar"  card sample!

This week the theme was  "The gift that keeps on giving" - use anything that was gifted to you by a friend, relative, or significant other in your project. I thought it would be fun to mention their names too in the blog posting. It can be anything craft related - Embossing folder, RAK'd image, as long as it was given to you.

I am using a Hanglar Stanglar image that I received in an image swap, I believe it came from a fellow stamper by the name of Carol. I don't have access to Hanglar Stanglar so I was hoarding what little I do have!

Here's my card:

Card Details: Image-Hanglar Stanglar, Patterned Paper-The Paper Studio, Misc. Ribbon, Button, Machine Stitching, Flower Punch-Marvy Uchida, Copics to Color

Okay, call me obsessed...

I call it FUN!!!! I told a friend of mine that I found the cutest sentiment this past weekend....it was Studio G's "Happy Meter" stamp!
My hubby took me into Michael's which was a miracle all by itself, and THEN he let me shop for about 30 minutes...another miracle!!! LOL Anyway, I found some really cute sentiment stamps, and for a dollar...my hubby was quite pleased!!
That night as I was lying in bed, thoughts of all my new goodies were going through my head...funny thing is, I kept thinking of images that would go with my sentiments. When I thought of my "Happy Meter" stamp, I immediately thought of Mo's image called "Hoppin' Happy". I just couldn't wait to get up and purchase this digital image!!!
I love the two of them together!!!

Card Details: Digi Image-"Hoppin' Happy" by Mo Manning, Sentiment: "Happy Meter" Studio G, Patterned Paper: KI Memories and Creative Imaginations, Brad: Making Memories, Misc.: Chalks

My Thrift Store Card!

As you might have noticed I just love these Pure Innocence images by Heather Ellis!!! They make me smile!
I wanted to share a card with you that I made using one of her new digital images. Most of the items on this card are new, but there are couple of items that I found at the thrift store! For example, those heart buttons are cute, huh? I found them on a denim jumper. The jumper was a size 3T, so I bought it for 99 cents.....just for the buttons!!! As soon as I got home I cut off all the buttons and added them to my stash!!!
The vintage lace at the bottom was also from the thrift store, they had a couple of them for 50 cents, I just couldn't resist! I love thrift store finds!!!
Here's my card:

Card Details: Digi Image: Pure Innocence by Heather Ellis, Patterned Paper: My Mind's Eye, Ribbon: WalMart, Heart Button and Vintage Lace: thrift store, Circle and Scalloped Circle: Cuttlebug, Machine Stitching and Chalks
