Please don't be mad at me!!!

But I am just not a Twilight Fan!! Edward and Jacob are very good looking, but I just can't get into these movies!!! So.....now that I have admitted this, I can admit that this week's challenge over at our Raise The Bar challenge blog was a real challenge for me!!! We were to create a card using an "evening theme". When I found my stamp of Dressy Joyce I knew she'd be the one! She reminds me of the girls from the Twilight movies...so sorry, I just can't think of their names!!! (so red in the face right now)
Card Details: Image--"Dressy Joyce" The Greeting Farm, Patterned Paper-The Paper Studio, Pearls-The Paper Studio, Black Rhinestone Swirl-Unknown, Ribbon-WalMart, Charm-The Dollar Tree, Paper pieced her dress.

Thanks for stopping by today! We are enjoying my hubby's last day of vacation. We are out at the river for a day of tubing, barbq-ing, swimming, and just enjoying time away with the kids and our dogs!
Have a wonderful Friday!!!

My Fabulous Friday Find!!

Lately I've been reading several home decorating blogs...for example, turning trash into treasure, decorating w/ thrift store finds. This morning I read this blog: Just Another Hang Up and was shocked to see her revamp a Cloche. After seeing what she had done, I remembered seeing one at a nearby thrift store for $1. I felt so silly for not buying. So...I grabbed my keys and rushed over there. First I found the glass dome...and for $1 I knew it was a steal!!! Then I searched around the store and found the wooden base...for 25 cents!!!!! I could hear the trumpets of heaven blowing!!!!!!!!!!
So now, I've just got to decide if I want to paint the base or leave "as is"....and for $1.25...I call this my Fabulous Friday Find!!!

Just a little note......

"Just a little note" is the sentiment on my card. The challenge this week at Raise the Bar was to incorporate music into your card. When I saw this new image by Heather Ellis, I just knew it would be perfect for this week's challenge!
Enough rambling.....here's my card:
Card Details: Digi Image-Pure Innocence by Heather Ellis, Patterned Paper/Buttons-Cosmo Cricket, Twill Ribbon-Close to My Heart, Sentiment-Stampabilities, Brads-The Paper Studio
Thanks for joining me today! Have a wonderful Friday!

No Cards Today...but I did Craft!

After being inspired by many blogs I had been reading lately, I was in the mood today to do some crafting!!
First of all I made some "Garden Hand Scrub", I called in "Gentle Hand Scrub", I got the tutorial from here:
The Gaines Gang. Kate used the pink Dawn soap, my small town WalMart didn't have it, so I used the Lavender Silk Dawn...plus I had a coupon for $1 off!!! Bonus!!!

Then I made these 3 Children's "Fun on the Go" bags. I made them with 2 prints so they are
reversible. I filled them with fun things like a coloring book and colors, a Magic Writer, a tablet, a Mini Chalkboard, Chalk and Felt, etc.

Well, time to start dinner. Thanks for stopping by today!
Have a wonderful afternoon!

And the winner is.....

That's ME!! Heck Yes!!!!
Isn't this picture the greatest?! He is so stinkin' cute. You can just see the excitment on his face!!!
So what did I win...this time?
This!

You can read all the details about this bag over at Frundy.
She's also got an etsy shop:
She's got the cutest stuff, so please visit her shop and look at her
yummy creations!
Have a great day!!!

I need ideas...Please!

I always seem to come home with things but  I don't always know what to do with them!

The other day I felt like going to the thrift store to see what "treasures" could be found. I found a few things, but now......I'm undecided on what to do with them!LOL
I found a really nice frame, no glass, about a size 11x14. So, should I make a chalkboard frame, a fabric memory board, a magnetic frame...?

And with the silver bowl...should I clean it up and use it in the house, or take it outside and make it a bird feeder?  (minus the floss of course!)

And I know this stamp is different, but you never know when you'll need a "promotion stamp", and for 25 cents I couldn't pass these rubberstamps up!!

I would LOVE some ideas and inspiration so PLEASE share with me!!!

Beautiful Give Away!!!

Sweet Stop Saturday!

It feels so good to be able to be able to slow down and relax this weekend. Last week I didn't get to participate because my son was graduating High School and we had 4-5 parties to attend last weekend!!! I was pooped by Sunday night!LOL
I'm so happy to be able to show you SSS 59 from The Sweet Stop.  Here's the sketch:

I don't have an 'oval' template yet. So I used a circle. I think it fits quite alright with the sketch.
