Happy Thursday to you!!! So many things I have not done in a long time, starting with this Blog!!
I haven't made a card in ages, and I haven't entered any cardmaking challenges in just as long!
As I was making this card, I found it to be so relaxing!! No wonder I use to enjoy cardmaking so much!

This month's challenge over at the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog was to use this

How You Bee?

Hey there! So happy to be off from work today. I started working on some cards this morning but I've got a horrible sinus headache and my eyes are hurting. So...these cards are not my best work....but they work. :)

I've used this Tiddly Inks image many times...I just love her!

I haven't had time to make cards in a long time, so I just realized a lot of my markers are going dry and need to be replaced. Guess I'll be shopping for markers soon. :)

Thanks for stopping by! Have a blessed Wednesday!

Happy BEE day!

Happy Wednesday to you! Yesterday I showed you that new Tiddly Inks image I inked it. I have a thing for "Bee" images. I have several by different companies. If you scroll down you will see one I purchased from Whimsiedoodles. I just love BEE images. Maybe because Honey has been in my family for many years! My grandpa and dad were beekeepers.  I've had uncles and cousins who sold their honey to Sue Honey, very yummy! And now my nephew is carrying on the legacy! You can read all about it here: Perez Beekeeping

So heres today's version:

Card Details: Patterned Papers: Unknown (scraps). Digi Image & Sentiment: Tiddly Inks,  Circles: Nestebilities, Stickles-Studio G, Bling-The Paper Studio

Thanks for stopping by! Have a blessed Wednesday! Coming up....a super cute Easter treat using a Mason Jar tumbler!!

Just BEE Cause

Whoa!!! I cannot believe it's been THIS long since my last post!! Just over a month...and it's been TOO long! I really miss being a SAHM...but since all of my kids have left the nest to go to college I went back to work. I would love to be a SAHW (stay at home wife), but for now, I have a part time job. And..I do LOVE it! I work 20-25 hours at an office and still get to work at Country Hugs: making and selling my crafts! I have the best of both worlds!

I actually had some "ME" time Sunday afternoon to work on some cards. Oh how I missed that too!!! I purchased this one from Tiddly Inks on Sunday morning and couldn't wait to ink her up!!!

Card Details: Patterned Papers: Unknown (scraps). Digi Image: Tiddly Inks, Sentiment: Microsoft Word, Circles: Nestebilities, Stickles-Studio G

Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful Tuesday!
If you check back tomorrow, I will show you the same image but with a different look!

Happy Easter!

Well, it's almost Easter! One more day!! Hope your Saturday is going well. Here is a card I made using an image from Tiddly Inks:

Card Details: Digi Image--Tiddly Inks, Patterned Paper-The Paper Studio, Border Punch-Martha Stewart, Circles-Nestabilities, Ribbon-Offray, Misc. Glossy Accents on glasses, Marvy Uchida white gel pen on Easter egg.

Even though I like to celebrate the fun part of Easter--the cute colors, yummy candy, boiled eggs, good food etc...I will never forget the true meaning of Easter.

Jesus died for our sins, he was put on a cross, died and buried in a tomb. On the third day he rose again.
Jesus has risen and lives today!

Matthew 28:1-10

After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb. There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.

The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: 'He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.' Now I have told you."

So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. Suddenly Jesus met them. "Greetings," he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. Then Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me."

Thank you for letting me share this. May your Easter be filled with many blessings!
