NO Stamps allowed, well except  for the sentiment. That is the new challenge at Joni's Raise The Bar challenge blog. I have to say....this was a challenge for me.....I always first choose my stamped image, then my patterned paper, etc. So....I sorta got a rough start in making this card. But I am pleased with the end result.
I am also using this card for the EtsyInspired Challenge #76. I was inspired by this soap, available here at the Enchanted Beehive Etsy Shop. It is also being sponsored by The Doodle Palace. Click on the link to play along.

Card Details: Image-www.craftstew.com, Sentiment-Unknown, Patterned Paper-Anna Griffin, Pearl Brads-K&Company, Misc.-Ribbon, Crocheted Lace, Satin Flower, Machine Stitching,
Stickles (on wings)

Praying for Delia

This morning I finally got caught up on my blog reading. I love to read certain blogs and hadn't had alot of computer time.
This morning I visited Dustin Pike's blog and read about his Cards for Delia project. If you click on the link, you can read all about it. Being  a Mom this story just broke my heart. I am praying for Delia's healing, God makes miracles everyday!!! And also praying for Delia's family, that God will give them strength and faith.
Here is my card, using Dustin's cute Owl Images. I hope it brings a smile to her face.
I made up a sentiment, hoping it will make Delia smile.
The outside says: "If I could paint you a picture..."
Inside says: "It would be a miracle, cause I can't even draw!"
My own kids would say, "Mom, this is so corny!" But I'm a Mom, so I have permission to be corny!
I really hope it cheers her up!!!
Card Details: Digi Image: Dustin Pike, Paper: Basic Grey, Circles: Cuttlebug, Sentiment: Microsoft Word

I have "Me" time!

Yes!!! It's Monday!!!!! I know for  alot of you, it's your day off for President's Day, but for me...kids are back in school and my hubby is back at work! What does this mean for me? Cardmaking time!!!!!!!
Today I am using this card for Mo's Digital Challenge #18. The challenge says to use pink, red and white colors on your card and to include a heart.
So...here's my card:
Card Details-- Digi Image:Mo Manning, Patterned Paper:The Paper Studio, Sentiment: Microsoft Word, Circle and Scalloped Circle: Cuttlebug dies, Border Punch: Martha Stewart, Misc.: Ribbon, Heart charm, Stickles, Machine Stitching

A Digi Image named after me??

Well, I'd love to believe that...but no, it's not true!LOL These digi images are named "Audrey" but I'm not the "Audrey" she speaks of, it's actually her daughter Audrey that these super cute images are named after! :)
You see, it all started out with a free image from The Stamping Boutique, after I got this, I HAD TO have more!!! Especially since there's a whole collection of Audrey images!!!
Here's the card I made this weekend using Cooking Audrey (something I don't enjoy doing at all!)
Card Details: Digi Image: The Stamping Boutique, Patterned Paper: The Paper Studio, Sentiment: Studio G,Misc.:Ribbon, Copics to color, Trifold Card: American Crafts

One more thing........
My hubby is on vacation this week so I don't have alot of "me" time! So today I worked on a quick project
for Valentine's Day.
I started out with some packages of Grandma's Chocolate Chip cookies. I then printed out some Mini Valentine's by Whimsiedoodles. I colored them in, adhered them to cardstock and then strung ribbon through them to attach them to the pack of cookies!
Here you have it! My quick, fun project for today!!

Details: Digi Image: Whimsiedoodles, Cookies: Grandma's Cookies, Ribbon and Cardstock

Thanks for visiting, have a wonderful Monday ~God bless!
And....as always, comments are greatly appriecated!

It's Friday!

I love Fridays, not sure why....but I do! Today is extra special. It is my hubby's birthday, so tonight he and I are going out to dinner!!
Another reason I like Fridays is because I get to share another card sketch with you from the Raise the Bar Challenge Blog, the theme this week is:
"Heart to Heart talk" - with Vday approaching, use any type of hearts on your project.

I love hearts so I used them everywhere on my card!!!
Here it is:
As you can see, they are on the patterned paper, on my image, I added a heart charm, and even have the word "heart" in my sentiment!!!
Hope you enjoy my card!!!

A day for Challenges!

This is the first day in almost 2 weeks that I have had time "just to myself", so I have spent my afternoon working on challenges. My husband's birthday is tomorrow and then he starts vacation, so after today, I will have no time to "play"! :(
The first challenge I worked on was from Cute Card Thursday, the theme is "Spots and Dots"! I love dots so this was easy for me!!! It is being sponsored by Phindy's Place! I love her images, they are so cute!
It has been raining non-stop for 2 days now, so I felt this image was very appropriate!!!:)
Here's my card:
Card Details: Digi Image: Phindy's Place "Rainy Day Friends", Patterned Paper: Making Memories: "Chloe's Closet", Machine Stitching, Ribbon, button and thread. Glossy Accents was used on the raindrops and puddles.
